In case you’d like to spend a few more days on the island, or you want to explore independently, we’ve put together a list of our favourite beaches, places to eat and drink, and villages to visit.

🌊 Where to swim

Tinos has many beautiful beaches you can visit and spend a day in the sun. Please note that it can get very windy on the island (though September is not notorious for it). You should take the direction of the wind into account when planning for your beach trips. It normally blows North to South, so if there’s high winds, avoid the North facing beaches.

🍴 Where to eat

Tinos is renowned for its cuisine. Expect traditional Greek food, local ingredients and a sliding scale of authentic to modern interpretations. Let’s just say that you won’t be out of options!
